What makes the Versa products different than existing walker footings on the market?
Our products offer a patented 2-in-1 design for indoor and outdoor use on the SAME walker. It contains a hard plastic surface for outdoor settings and a secondary soft/carpeted surface to protect indoor flooring such as hardwood floors and tile. Existing customers have also reported effortless coasting on low profile carpeting. The features of the product include a round-edged circular design allowing for a smoother and quieter glide, increased durability, and protection from outside debris and germs. The soft carpeted surface can be cleaned as needed in order to prolong usage compared to current felt products such as tennis balls. Proudly made in the USA.
Will the Versa products fit my existing walker?
Yes, our product fits most walkers due to its universal design by expanding in the walker leg as the screw is tightened. First, remove the existing footings from your rear walker legs. Next, insert our product into the hollow rear walker legs and firmly tighten the screw using a Philip screwdriver. If needed, slightly loosen the screw to shrink the expansion in order to fully insert into the walker leg.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes, if for some reason you are unhappy with the product you may return it in unused condition within 30 business days for 100% refund minus the initial $10 shipping fee. However, you are responsible for the return shipping fee. Free feel to contact us at www.versamobility.com. Return address: 19934 Wolf Rd Unit #7, Mokena, IL 60448.
How long does the product last?
The hard plastic surface is comprised of an extremely tough polymer considered to be more superior with wear resistance compared to the polyethylene used in most current walker skis. The longevity to this hard surface depends on a few things including how much force is put onto the walker upon ambulation, variable rough outdoor surfaces, and total hours of ambulation. The soft carpeted surface should be utilized solely indoors and cleaned as needed to maximize durability. With that said, the duration of the product is highly individualized but should surpass the usage of existing walker products such as tennis balls and walker skis.
How do I switch between the hard and soft surface options?
It it highly recommended to alternate surfaces from a SEATED POSITION in order to maximize safety and use of our product! OUTDOOR USE FOR VERSA SELECT: Expose the hard plastic surface for outdoor use by pressing down on the foot release tab located on the soft surface coaster and slightly lift up the rear walker leg flip up the soft surface coaster until it fully locks in an upright position. INDOOR USE: Release the soft surface coaster from the locked upright position, allow the coaster to rotate underneath the hard surface coaster, and gently push down on walker to lock into place.
